Intimate weddings are a favourite for us as most of our work is in the commercial realm. Wedding work is often a call from a friend who needed us because “they only trust us” to be the one who captures their story. This is one of those stories – the photographer cancelled ahead of the wedding and they needed someone they could rely on to be there on their big day.

In 2016 friends Corinne and Stephen asked me to capture their story with the wedding at a local church and the dinner at the Whitby Yacht Club. The day came with friends, family and a lovely ceremony – a tornado warning, a break in the day just when we needed it and rain in the evening. 

This was just a taste of the evening we captured for them – rain, sun and more we had a day of laughter, fellowship and fun.
