Team photos in studio complete the look opf individual teams.
This past November we worked with Sean Aune and his team to update their individual and team headshots. They had recently done images that they felt did not represent their team and wanted a modern, fresh look in keeping with the IG Wealth Management brand.
We picked a solid navy background which already modernized the look. Then with some coaching we helped the team pick their outfits and with posing in the studio. Posing sometimes can come naturally but we are there to make you at ease, shoot a few images tethered to show you the way you are smiling, holding your head and the impact of a few changes to your posture.
When blogging a session we love to show you how the image is being used by the client. Each team member now has this on the website making them look cohesive, professional and current.
Below you can see the various team members 5×5 crops which we provide alongside each full sized image – ready to be popped into social media – Linked In, your website, Facebook and Zoom feeds. The world may be back to some of the pre 2020 habits but we are still making first contact online most of the time and the right look can mean the difference between a lead passing you by and engaging.
The team is hoping to expand the content in 2023 with some in office images and we cannot wait to see them all again.

Trinity Design Photography in Whitby is a small, scale boutique studio and it may just be a better fit for you than the normal volume studio graduate experience. We service a small number of clientele who want a little more from their experience and expert photographic skills.
As a smaller studio we put together for our client a quality experience. We buy the best stoles we can stock with matte textures and have a variety of gown/hat/tassel combinations for your graduate to borrow. From black, to navy and even Trent Green is now in stock in the studio.
NOTE: We just can’t have all the vee stoles and colours. Some universities may have over thirty departments all with different colour schemes. We do our best and often times clients will purchase the specialty stole for their photos and use our gown/hat/tassel combinations.
Over the past 9+ years we have built a strong reputation for more than just our photographic skills. We have many amazing clients who do not do well in volume studios and experience with kids who may not like to be touched or are triggered by busy or loud situations.
We support kids who are transitioning or perhaps are in the middle of a journey to the person they want to be. Our studio is a safe space for you and your kids. Owner Kirsten is a experienced mother of three, has a background in childcare and herself understands how anxious a photo experience can be for anyone at any age.
We are adding new vee stoles and gowns as time passes – we did this cute Tik Tok featuring rising country music star Riley Wheater (see below) showing the ones we had as of the beginning of April. Since then new ones have arrived and more are coming in matte fabrics which look amazing on camera.
If you’re looking for a talented and professional photographer/storyteller, I highly recommend Kirsten at Trinity Design Photography. She goes above and beyond to capture the best image. Her patient and lovely personality make her a joy to work with. Thank you!

Above a simple black jacket paired with a scoop tank top and a meaningful jewelry piece creates a modern look for her.
The world during the pandemic has changed the landscape of how we work and as a result having a headshot that represents you is essential. First impressions are still the most important thing when meeting new colleagues and clients – so by using a professional headshot artist you are literally putting your best “face” forward.
Our brains can absorb a lot from a photo – is this person trust worthy? is this person someone I would like? like to work with? is this someone who is good at their job. Professional imagery done well creates a strong first impression versus a cellphone shot or worse, a cropped shot from the last wedding you attended.
In Susan’s office there is no office. They work virtually and have as a new team formed during the pandemic. While face to face is not out of the question the norm for her is Zoom and other online meeting zones. So with this in mind we started looking at how to create her headshots to reflect who she is. In her world chances are 100% of the people spend time with her photo – not her in person.
When dressing for headshots much like any portrait we ask bring solid shirts and jacket that will allow the focus to stay on your face in your headshot. We levelled up this studio jacket Susan borrowed by changing it from an olive green to a purple that suited her hair and her personality. As a purple lover myself I was all in on that change. It also provided a more modern colour story with the navy background.
Susan is a modern, fun and educated woman. We wanted her portraits to show this immediately and reinforce her position as a Chief Pension Officer. These options give her room to change it up from time to time – the main reason we offer a 3 image package is the flexibility it gives clients.
This use of a paper lined surface to create a faux desk is one of my new favourite ways to stage a headshot. It creates a lovely modern “desk” and allows for the client to sit forward, elongating the body through the neck and shoulders for that perfect pose an modern headshot.
If you need to update your professional headshots we would love to chat. In a world that seems to still be embracing Zoom it’s not a nice to have, it’s a must have.

The world for a Senior Kindergarten student has not been easy in Durham Region or across the world. School has been online, masked and unlike anything we experienced whether we grew up in the early 1900s or the late 1900s (yeah I feel old just writing it). Kids have gotten a rough start to their education and if there is something we can do with our services to make that a little easier we would be delighted to be a part of their journey.
One thing we did during the pandemic was invest in new gowns with the idea that when we opened up we could again offer studio mini sessions for SK gradates. Our two newest gowns are gorgeous matte navy and red with matching hats and tassels. We work with a solid backdrop in our mini sessions to capture three images of your child.
When dressing for your graduate photos it helps to have either a shirt with a collar for under the gown or a rounded neck shirt or sweater. This will allow for the things you are wearing to exist comfortably under the gown.
We create a safe space for kids to be kids. We do short sessions that will not overwhelm them. The connection comes from 9+ years working with kids, years before that running a home daycare and wrangling three of my own spirited boy humans.
To book a spot simply connect with us for more information on the packages and booking dates (the event was cancelled due to our own bookings overflowing in May and June 2022). We still have room later in June and into July for your little ones.
Images do not have to come with the SK text – we love to play with the images when we test them out. But we provide our images as you would like them – plain for with the fun underlay text.

We are delighted to be back working with long time clients as they launch a new website. A strong team in the mortgage industry you can now find their expertise at https://www.laframboisemortgage.ca/.
For each member we created headshots that will support them across social media platforms. Our clients are actively involved in creating images and we take suggestions you offer while shooting. The images for both Denise and Nicolee were part of Denise’s vision for the session making this a true collaboration of business and creativity.
The brick wall behind Charlotte and Syeda is in their office which is in the new building across from Brooklin’s Grass Park. Their stylish space is a wonderful place to sit and work out a new mortgage. We have had the pleasure of working with the team and can say they are all skilled
Using our Team Business package this team created a team photo alongside team headshots and a few additional images for social media to showcase the office. We are not sharing the entire shoot here because they are going to be using them in their own channels.
We have different levels of team business content for small, medium and large businesses that are developed to ensure the brand of the company is reflected in the final product. We offer natural light, studio and off camera flash lighting options that allow you to realize your brand images in a professional, high end way.
